RAD COLOR LAB is the Portland-based creative laboratory of MAX RADI. He’s busy experimenting with pixels, paper, and color swatches but would love to collaborate with you.

Max is a data-driven, strategy-focused designer with a passion for interactive storytelling and getting the right message in front of the right audience. After receiving his degree from the UO School of Journalism and Communication, Max started working for The Oregonian / OregonLive as a senior designer on the marketing team. Through his work at the largest and oldest journalistic institution in Oregon, he has cherished the responsibility of designing for a local brand that supports the community.

The lab is now open to start solving your business problems.

Values

Queer Rights

As a gay man, Rad Color Lab owner, Max Radi, has personal and professional experience with the hate and inequality the LGBTQ+ community encounters daily. Our passion for supporting the queer community runs deep – including tipping our local Drag Queens.

Black Lives Matter

In business, we must make the conscious choice to stand up against hate and fight racism. We actively support the local and national Black community as it strives for equality. We will not tolerate any work or partnerships that oppose this view.

Trans Lives Matter

Supporting the LGBTQ+ means supporting Trans rights. Our trans siblings are fighting for their lives, literally. The trans community is most likely to be targets of hate crimes, domestic violence, and self-harm. The stigma is unconscionable.

Equal Pay for Women

It’s widely known that: on average, women make 82 cents for every $1 earned by men. That gap is drastically increased for Black, Latina, and Native American women. Closing the gender pay gap is essential; that's why we pay all vendors and partners fairly.
